Having your breast milk come in when you have lost a baby only compounds the injury to your body and mind. As your arms ache to hold your baby, so do your breasts ache to feed your baby. That is why we have decided to start carrying CaboCream(tm) to help grieving moms suppress breast milk production and engorgement.

CaboCream can suppress breast milk production and dry up milk if it has already come in. It was invented by an OB/GYN mom and is recommended by lactation consultants and health care specialists.

According to the CaboCream website, grieving moms should start it immediately after delivery and use liberally every 2-3 hours, or as needed until your milk has dried up.

As it says, this product does contain cabbage so do NOT use if you are allergic to cabbage.

If you are in the Cincinnati Area, you can come in and pick up this product any weekday from 12-5. If out of the Cincinnati Area, you can order it from us or directly from the CaboCream company. You may request overnight shipping, if needed.

At Heaven’s Gain, part of our mission is to provide products that give dignity to the deceased baby – at whatever stage – to bring the family closure and peace. When parents lose a child, no matter the age, they have only one opportunity to do something special for that baby. They can preserve their baby’s memory by giving them a beautiful final resting place that emphasizes how much they are treasured, and even though small, deserve great dignity.

Our ministry, Heaven’s Gain, provides help to those suffering a death of a baby whether it be due to miscarriage, premature birth, or newborn death. Our goal is to support the family in their time of grief, to acknowledge the dignity of the baby, and to assist in closure for the family. With a Certified Baby Loss Doula on staff, we offer non-medical information helping support those suffering pregnancy loss at all stages of pregnancy.
